cielo azul resort provided a fab stay with the most comfortable bed and pillows ever! I loved being near both the arenal volcano and monteverde cloud forest. the staff was excellent, making my experience even better. breakfast was delish, adding to the overall quality of my one-night stay.

The pool cleanliness was lackluster at best!!! Also, the gate closing at 11 pm is inconvenient – finding the owner just to get back in isn’t ideal!!!

Serenity by the Arenal Lake
The peaceful atmosphere at Hotel Cielo Azul was truly rejuvenating. Waking up to stunning views of the mountains and encounters with toucans made every moment special. The owners went out of their way to ensure we felt at home.
However, the pool wasn't fully ready on our first day and had some cleanliness issues, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, our room was a bit basic, though comfortable enough for our stay.

The Basic Double Room was cozy and super clean. The bed? Wow, it was the most comfortable ever with amazing bamboo pillows! The room itself was a bit small but felt very welcoming. The bathroom had everything I needed, but the overall vibe was really nice. Not to mention, the sheets were crispy clean! I had a fabulous night’s sleep, so I can't complain at all!
